PAPAYA

It contains papain, a natural enzyme that promotes skin renewal and cell turnover. It helps in exfoliating the skin to reveal newer cells, and has restorative properties that soften the skin. 

ARBUTIN

It is a naturally occuring derivative of hydroquinone found in the leaves of cranberry, bearberry, and blueberry shrubs, most types of pears, and many other plants. Arbutin may inhibit melanogenesis by affecting tyrosinase activity. Arbutin has been used in the treatment of disorders of hyperpigmentation such as post inflammatory hyperpigmentation caused by acne, trauma, allergic reactions, infections, injuries, phototoxic reactions, reactions to medications, reactions to cosmetics, and inflammatory diseases.

COLLAGEN

They are skin proteins responsible for elasticity, tone and texture; they are present ias fibres in our skin. Collagen is rated as one of the strongest proteins in nature and is an essential part of our skin giving strength and durability to our largest organ. High-molecular collagen is a significant moisture retainer and is appropriate for all skin types. It has been established that collagen increases hydration, improves skin feeling and decreases the degree and amount of wrinkles. It rejuvenates maturing skin, deeply moisturizes and tones skin, delays the ageing process, clearly improves skin immunology, compactness and pigmentation, and smoothen wrinkles, scars, stretch marks and scalded skin.

 

KOJIC

Kojic acid is derived from a variety of fungi and organic substances. It helps diminish or eliminate sun freckles, melasma and other pigmentation. Kojic acid attacks the root of the pigmentation source by inhibiting the production of melanin. More specifically, kojic acid reacts with an amino acid called tyrosine to produce melanin. By stopping the production of melanin, kojic acid can reverse excessive darkening of the skin.

GLUTATHIONE

It is the major endogenous antioxidant produced by the cells, participating directly in the neutralization of free radicals and reactive oxygen compounds. The strong antioxidant properties of glutathione helps keep skin cells running smoothly. Glutathione competitively inhibits melanin synthesis in the reaction of tyrosinase and L-DOPA (L-3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine) by interrupting L-DOPA’s ability to bind tyrosinase during melanin synthesis. The inhibition of melanin synthesis was reversed by increasing the concentration of L-DOPA, but not by increasing tyrosinase. These results indicate that glutathione inhibits the synthesis and agglutination of melanin by interrupting the function of L-DOPA.

ECLAIR BLANCHE

The whitening effect of Clair Blanche, which contains 7 whitening ingredients, was evaluated by 2 melanin production inhibition tests for tyrosinase activity and B16 melanoma cells. Clair Blanche showed a whitening effect superior to that of Hydroquinone, and was proven effective as a total whitening care product in prevention and development of pigmented spots and freckles in the skin due to exposure to sun.
